Imperial, California - Yesterday, Imperial County Sheriff’s Office Investigators located 30 year old Gilberto Acuña in Mexicali with the assistance of Agents from the PGJBC (Procuraduria General de Justicia del Estado de Baja California) Ministerio Publico. Gilberto Acuña escaped from the Imperial County Sheriff’s Office Minimum Security facility on June 12, 2015.

Brawley, California - In an effort to keep the public informed of upcoming changes in their community, the Imperial County Board of Supervisors would like to notify the community of Brawley and motorists on the Brawley Bypass that the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will begin construction in early January to install a new traffic signal on State Route 78 and Hovley Road in Brawley.
