Arlington, Virginia - A federal grand jury in Virginia returned a superseding indictment yesterday charging 12 members and associates of La Mara Salvatrucha, aka MS-13, with a variety of offenses based on their alleged involvement in a series of murders, racketeering and drug trafficking crimes.

Knoxville, Tennessee - A New Jersey man and two New York men pleaded guilty Thursday to fixing the prices of DVDs and Blu-Ray Discs sold on the Amazon Marketplace. 

Xiang Haitao, 44, a Chinese national formerly residing in Chesterfield, Missouri, pleaded guilty Thursday to conspiracy to commit economic espionage.

Manhattan, New York - A Rhode Island man was charged in a criminal complaint unsealed today with conspiring to traffic firearms and with making false statements. According to court documents, Robert Alcantara, 34, of Providence, was arrested Thursday and presented in the District of Rhode Island.

Miami, Florida - A Colombian national was arrested based on a criminal complaint filed in the Southern District of Florida.

Washington, DC - A North Carolina man pleaded guilty Monday to conspiring to defraud the United States by promoting a nationwide tax fraud scheme and assisting in the preparation and filing of false tax returns for the scheme’s participants.
