The hope is to give users themselves, as well as academics and other scientists conducting research in the public interest, access to the same type of browsing data that big Web companies currently collect and mine to better target products to individual consumers.

Washington, DC - The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) is issuing a public health alert to notify the public of a recall conducted by Maxi Canada, Inc., a Québec, Canada, establishment, involving approximately 103,752 pounds of chicken product that may be contaminated with metal pieces. The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) notified FSIS of the recall, which affected products exported to the United States.
