El Centro, California - Imperial County Sheriff’s Office Investigators continued the investigation involving the escape of 26 year old Rafael Anderson Gomez from the Imperial County Jail. Rafael Anderson Gomez escaped on November 16, 2015 and was recaptured on November 17, 2015.

The ongoing investigation yielded evidence which led Sheriff’s Investigators to arrest 26 year old Arturo Anderson Gomez for aiding his brother, Rafael Anderson Gomez, to escape from the Imperial County Jail. Arturo Anderson Gomez was booked into the Imperial County Jail for conspiracy and aiding and abetting a prisoner to escape from jail, his bail was set at $25,000 dollars. The case will be submitted to the Imperial County District Attorney’s Office for review and prosecution.
