Holtville, California - Saturday, Imperial County Sheriff Deputies assigned to the City of Holtville, where patrolling the area of Pine Avenue and 5th Street. The Deputies contacted Tina Sue Smith, who was suspected of a theft, which had occurred earlier in the day.

As the Deputies spoke to Smith they noticed Smith attempting to swallow an object. Smith complied with Deputies commands and spit out multiple bindles containing over 2 grams of methamphetamines.

The Deputies took possession of the drugs and placed Tina Sue Smith under arrest for transportation of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance for sales.
