El Centro, California - On Thursday, Officers from the El Centro Police Department were looking for an outstanding suspect of a robbery, burglary, as well as a recent auto theft from the City of Yuma.  22 year old El Centro resident Andrew Sanchez was also wanted for a violation of probation. 

At just prior to 2pm, Sanchez  was spotted in the area of the 500 block of Holt Avenue in the City of El Centro.  Several officers arrived in the area and approached a residence in the area he was believed to be in.  He was reported to have left the location in an unknown direction.  Officers searched the area and later located Sanchez who upon contact, ran from the officers. Officers conducted a detailed area search and  the suspect again attempted to run however he was caught and arrested without further incident. Sanchez was turned over to personnel from the Imperial County Probation Department.
