Holtville, California - This evening Imperial County Fire Department and Office of Emergency Services responded to a traffic collision on HWY 111 Worthington Road. The accident involved a mid size sedan and a Holtville School district van carrying the Holtville Highschool Volleyball Team.

Two patients where transported by air and two by ground. Imperial County Fire Department stated, "Our thoughts and prayers go out to the victims for a speedy recovery. All questions should be directed to CHP as the incident investigation and jurisdiction belongs to them."
