El Centro, California - This morning, at 3:38 a.m., officers responded to 525 North LaBrucherie after the clerk called to report he had been robbed at gun point. Officers arrived on scene and met with the clerk who said a Hispanic male adult entered the store just prior to closing and pointed a black handgun at him.

El Centro, California - Yesterday, Imperial County Sheriff’s Office Investigators, Homeland Security Investigations and the US Marshals served a search warrant on the 200 block of Ocotillo Drive in El Centro, and arrested 20 year old Juan Carlos Carpena-Ramirez who was located hiding in the attic of the residence.

Calexico, California - Yesterday, Imperial County Sheriff’s Office Investigators executed a search warrant on the 400 block of Mary St. in Calexico. With the assistance of Homeland Security Investigations, Border Patrol, and the U.S. Marshals, Jose Angel Moreno Vasquez (34 yrs) was arrested for cashing 10 counterfeit checks resembling Sheriff’s Office checks totaling $4,570 dollars.
