Sacramento, California - The Sacramento Division of the FBI has refreshed an international campaign to locate Julio Cesar Guevara-Mejia, 42, a Honduran national whose alleged crimes include attempted murder and unlawful flight to avoid prosecution for the related charge. Guevara-Mejia is a 5’6” tall Hispanic male with black hair and brown eyes who, at the time of his crime, weighed approximately 160 pounds. He continues to be considered armed and dangerous.

San Francisco, California - Attorney General Kamala D. Harris and Alameda County District Attorney Nancy E. O’Malley today announced a settlement with AT&T to resolve allegations that hundreds of AT&T’s California facilities unlawfully disposed of hazardous waste and material over a nine-year period. As part of the settlement, AT&T will pay $23.8 million. In addition, AT&T will spend an estimated $28 million over the next five years to implement the enhanced environmental compliance measures required by the settlement. 

San Francisco, California - A federal grand jury in San Francisco returned three multi-count indictments against eleven real estate investors for their role in bid rigging and fraud schemes at foreclosure auctions in Northern California, the Department of Justice announced.
