Imperial County Sheriff's Office arrests Stabbing Suspect

Imperial, California - On Friday, a Sheriff Deputy was flagged down in the Salton Sea Beach area in reference to a just occurred stabbing. Victim and witnesses reported the suspect pulled out a knife and forced himself into their residence. The suspect attempted to stab a female however the male victim stepped in and stopped the suspect thus sustaining a wound to the abdomen.

Military veteran sentenced to more than 7 years for child pornography

Jacksonville, Florida - A Florida man was sentenced to seven years and 11 months in federal prison February 26 on five counts of receiving child pornography over the Internet and one count of possessing child pornography. The case was investigated by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement's (ICE) Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) and the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.
