FTC Announces New Clayton Act Monetary Thresholds for 2016

Washington, DC - As required by law, the Federal Trade Commission has revised the monetary thresholds that determine whether companies are required to notify federal antitrust authorities about a transaction under Section 7A of the Clayton Act. The FTC has also revised the monetary thresholds that trigger prohibitions on certain interlocking directorates under Section 8 of the Clayton Act.

Imperial, California - Soon after the cancellation of services by Imperial County’s Essential Air Service (EAS) provider SeaPort Airlines, Inc. (SeaPort) was issued late on January 15, 2016, the County of Imperial notified the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) and is working with DOT to find a solution. Earlier today, the DOT released an Emergency Request for Proposals (RFP) for replacement EAS in Imperial County, among other locations, with or without subsidy requests.
