Washington, DC - U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry will travel to Milan, Italy, on October 16, to deliver remarks in commemoration of World Food Day and visit the USA Pavilion at Milan EXPO 2015. While in Milan, the Secretary will also meet with Italian Foreign Minister Paolo Gentiloni to discuss the bilateral relationship, as well as global and regional issues.
The Secretary will then travel to Paris, France, to deliver remarks at an event in support of the United States’ re-election to the UNESCO Executive Board for the 2015-2019 term.
Secretary Kerry will also visit Madrid, Spain, from October 18 to October 19, during which time he will meet with King Felipe VI, President Mariano Rajoy, and Foreign Minister Jose Manuel Garcia-Margallo to discuss a range of bilateral and global issues.
