Washington, DC - On Friday, June 21, 2019, Keith Krach of California was sworn in as Under Secretary of State for Economic Growth, Energy, and the Environment.

Immediately upon assuming his position, Under Secretary Krach traveled to Manama, Bahrain with Secretary of the Treasury Steven Mnuchin and Senior Advisor to the President Jared Kushner to attend the Peace and Prosperity Workshop. From there, he traveled on to Osaka, Japan to join the President and the Secretary of State at the G20 Summit and will accompany them to the Republic of Korea.
