Budapest, Hungary - Secretary of State Michael R. Pompeo met with Hungarian Defense Minister Tibor Benko today in Budapest to discuss ways to strengthen U.S.-Hungary defense cooperation.

The Secretary thanked Minister Benko for Hungary’s contributions to security in Afghanistan and elsewhere and welcomed the news that Hungary will be acquiring stronger defense capabilities from the United States.
