Washington, DC - Secretary Michael R. Pompeo spoke Thursday with Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman al-Safadi. Secretary Pompeo and Foreign Minister Safadi discussed regional developments. The Secretary also thanked the Foreign Minister for Jordan’s continued role in helping to alleviate humanitarian suffering in southern Syria.

The Secretary and Foreign Minister also discussed efforts to bring peace and stability to Syria and the broader Middle East.
