Washington, DC - Under Secretary Thomas A. Shannon will travel to Vienna, Austria, July 20-22, to lead the U.S. delegation to the Joint Commission meeting of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) regarding Iran’s nuclear program. Under Secretary Shannon will be accompanied by experts and officials from relevant U.S. government agencies.

JCPOA participants attending the Joint Commission meeting will include all the members of the P5+1 (China, France, Germany, the Russian Federation, the United Kingdom, and the United States), the European Union, and Iran.
