San Diego, California - The San Diego State football team will hold its annual Spring Game on Saturday, March 21, beginning at noon PT, on the enclosed grass practice field adjacent to Parking Structure 5. Admission to the game is free and parking is $1 per hour at any yellow machine in PS5.
Gates open at 11 a.m., concessions will be available and free Kabeer Gbaja-Biamila replica jerseys will be handed out to the first 500 fans in attendance. It will also be the first opportunity for season ticket holders who renewed during the early renewal period to pick up their Aztec “Rise Up” pint glasses.
San Diego State finished tied for first place in the West Division of the Mountain West last season, and played in a bowl game for a school-record fifth-straight year. The Aztecs return one of the most dynamic running backs in the country in Donnel Pumphrey, while boasting a defensive unit anchored by linebackers Jake Fely, Calvin Munson and defensive back J.J. Whittaker.
SDSU’s 2015 schedule features non-conference road games against California and Penn State, as well as a home contest against South Alabama on Sept. 19. In addition, the Aztecs will play MW home games against Fresno State, Utah State, Wyoming and Nevada, while its conference road slate includes Hawai’i, San José State, Colorado State and UNLV.
San Diego State is accepting new account deposits on 2015 season tickets through the Aztec Ticket Office, and current season-ticket holders can renew their tickets for the 2015 season.
