Washington, DC - The Department of State has renewed the Charter of the Advisory Committee on International Communications and Information Policy (ACICIP).
The committee serves the U.S. Government in a solely advisory capacity concerning current issues and concerns in international communications and information policy. The objective of the committee is to bring to the Department a unique source of expertise and knowledge to the U.S. Government on these issues. ACICIP members are private sector communications and information technology policy specialists from U.S. telecommunications companies, trade associations, policy institutions, and academia. The committee meets at least annually.
