Washington, DC - U.S. Secretary of Commerce Penny Pritzker and U.S. Secretary of Energy Ernest Moniz today announced they will lead a delegation of 25 American companies on a Business Development Trade Mission to Beijing, Shanghai, and Guangzhou, China next month.
The trade mission will help U.S. companies launch or increase their business operations in China for Smart Cities – Smart Growth products and services, such as smart buildings, green data centers, carbon capture utilization and storage, energy efficiency technologies, clean air and water technologies, waste treatment technologies, smart grid and green transportation.
“This trade mission is an opportunity to facilitate greater cooperation between the governments and private sectors in the United States and China,” said Secretary Pritzker. “We know that China has energy needs that our firms have the goods, services and expertise to address.
