Goat Haunt, Montana - As part of U.S. Customs and Border Protection’s (CBP) comprehensive effort to improve the security of our nation's borders while enhancing legitimate travel, CBP has launched the Reporting Offsite Arrival – Mobile (ROAM) app for hikers planning to hike from Canada to the port of Goat Haunt.

Canada Parks Visitor Center for all
those planning to visit Goat Haunt by
ferry or trail.

Goat Haunt is a remote, seasonal port of entry, located at the south end of Waterton Lake, Alberta, Canada.  Goat Haunt can be reached by ferry from the town of Waterton, Alberta, or via hiking trails originating in Canada and the United States.

Hikers planning to hike from Canada to Goat Haunt will be required to use the ROAM app during the remainder of the summer season.

To use the ROAM app, travelers input their biographic information and trip details, then submit their trip for review by a CBP officer. The officer may initiate a video chat to further interview travelers. Once the officer reviews the trip, travelers will receive a push notification and an email with their admissibility decision and next steps, if applicable.

To use ROAM on your mobile device, download the app from the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store.
