Oxford, Mississippi - Acting Assistant Attorney General Vanita Gupta of the Justice Department’s Civil Rights Division, U.S. Attorney Felicia C. Adams of the Northern District of Mississippi and Special Agent in Charge Donald Alway of the FBI Jackson Office announced Friday that a man was charged with federal civil rights crimes for engaging in threatening conduct directed at African American students and employees at the University of Mississippi in Oxford, Mississippi. 

Camden, New Jersey - A New Jersey man was sentenced Friday to twenty four months in prison for providing immigration documents involving sham marriages and attempting to deposit a fraudulent tax return check of more than $100,000. The sentencing follows an investigation by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s (ICE) Homeland Security Investigations (HSI).
