Imperial, California - Many of us grew up with the unmistakable scent of Play-Doh in the air. It’s a one-of-a-kind aroma that can’t be duplicated because Hasbro, which introduced Play-Doh in 1956 has trademarked the smell, says the Association of Mature American Citizens.
The company describes the scent as "sweet, slightly musky, vanilla-like fragrance, with slight overtones of cherry, and the natural smell of a salted, wheat-based dough.
