Los Angeles, California - Attorney General Kamala D. Harris issued the following statement on the shooting at University of California, Los Angeles:

“The entire UCLA community is in my thoughts and prayers.  I want to thank the first responders and local law enforcement agencies for their swift response to protect students, faculty, and staff.  I am closely monitoring the situation and the California Department of Justice is standing by to support local law enforcement as necessary.”
