Imperial, California - You don't have to be a quick-witted youth to be a techie, says a California technology columnist. "I would argue that most seniors are just as tech savvy as the 25 to 40-year olds who sleep with their smartphones, Instagram selfies and commune with hundreds of Facebook friends," according to David Einstein.
Stereotyped seniors are often unfairly depicted as doddering oldsters who are challenged when it comes to the technological developments of the last quarter century, notes the Association of Mature American Citizens. But in fact, older Americans were in their prime when the consumer technology revolution was at its height. As David Einstein put it: "you're probably as sharp in retirement as you were when you passed your first driver's test." And his namesake, Albert, would probably agree.
