Washington, DC - Under Secretary of State for Arms Control and International Security Rose Gottemoeller will travel to Mexico City, Mexico on June 4 for Trilateral Consultations on Multilateral Issues with officials from the Governments of Mexico and Canada. She will be joined by Bureau of Arms Control, Verification and Compliance Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary Anita Friedt.
Discussion topics include a range of multilateral disarmament and nonproliferation agreements and activities. This is the second time the three countries will convene for specific consultations on multilateral issues. The United States hosted the first meeting last year.
