El Centro, California - In an effort to make services available at a time that may be more convenient to veterans or their dependents in need of assistance, Imperial County Veterans Service Officer, Roberto Avila, wishes to inform the public that the Imperial County Veterans Service Office (VSO) will now open during lunch from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. and as a result is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The Imperial County VSO acts as an advocate for veterans, their dependents and survivors regarding entitlement to benefits under federal, state and local laws and regulations. The VSO also provides access to onsite counseling and referrals for additional veteran needs.
