San Diego, California - Today, marks the first day of Kids Free month presented by Mission Fed, at the San Diego Zoo and the San Diego Zoo Safari Park. During this annual event, children 11 years old and younger receive free admission to both facilities—throughout the entire month of October—and enjoy special weekend activities for the whole family, including animal experiences, special entertainment and keeper talks.

Washington, DC - The Library of Congress Monday announced the selection of four organizations that will receive more than $1.1 million through its Teaching with Primary Sources (TPS) program to support the effective use of digitized primary sources in K-12 classrooms. Washington, DC - In celebration of National Manufacturing Day on Friday, October 4, 2019, the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) invites you to attend an informational webinar about the High Performance Computing for Energy Innovation (HPC4EI) Program, hosted by Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. The umbrella program for the HPC4Manufacturing, HPC4Materials, and HPC4Mobility programs, HPC4EI brings all three together and leverages the high-performance computing capabilities of the National Laboratories to accelerate the progress of manufacturing, materials, and mobility technologies. The existing projects encourage strong collaboration between the National Laboratories and industry to bring these technologies to market faster.
