El Centro, California - In conjunction with the El Centro Chamber of Commerce, the American Red Cross of San Diego/Imperial Counties will cut the ribbon on their new service center office location and launch a new fundraising campaign.
A ribbon cutting and reception to announce the launch of a fundraising campaign to purchase a new Imperial Valley-based Red Cross Emergency Response Vehicle. Every eight minutes, the Red Cross meets a family that has lost everything to a home fire or other disaster. Without the iconic emergency response vehicles, the Red Cross could not reach people in crisis or deliver lifesaving supplies. In Imperial Valley, and across the country, our emergency response vehicles get Red Cross volunteers where they are needed and deliver food, cleanup supplies and more.
Thursday, September 27 at 10:00 a.m. Reception followed by ribbon cutting at 10:25 a.m.
