Washington, DC - Are you looking to continue your career in solar energy? The SunShot Initiative is hiring multiple solar energy technology managers to fill vacancies on the Photovoltaics, Concentrating Solar Power, Technology to Market, and Systems Integration teams.
Solar energy technology managers are responsible for managing funding opportunity announcements, which includes developing concepts, planning workshops, organizing merit reviews, and collaborating with contracting officers. In addition, technology managers monitor and evaluate technology portfolios to ensure that projects are making progress on pre-established goals and deliverables and make recommendations to the program manager on the use of project funding.
The SunShot Initiative is looking for solar energy technology managers with different levels of experience:
- Applicants for the GS-13 position should have experience reviewing technical and programmatic activities involved in the research, design and/or development of solar photovoltaics, electrical grid systems integration, or transferring solar technology from manufacturing to the market. - Applicants for the GS-14 position should have experience leading, coordinating, and reviewing technical and programmatic activities involved in the research, design and/or development of solar photovoltaics, electrical grid systems integration, or transferring solar technology from manufacturing to the market.
