Sacramento, California - Assemblymember Eduardo Garcia (D-Coachella) got five bills out of the Senate Appropriations Committee, the Business Professions and Economic Development Committee and the Senate Floor today.
Topping his bill list are two priority measures—the first being Assembly Bill 1059 (Cal Enviroscreen 2.0 - Border Environmental Data) which would require the California Office of Environmental Health and Hazard Assessment (OEHHA) to expand air monitoring along the California-Mexico border region to collect air quality data.
