Sacramento, California - The California Energy Commission will hold a public meeting in Fresno tomorrow, June 2 to seek input on a new Water Energy Technology (WET) rebate and grant program to save water and energy in the Central Valley and other agricultural areas of California.
Participants can comment on aspects of the rebate program, including benefits for disadvantaged communities, rebate levels and eligible technologies.

WET implements direction from the Governor’s drought executive order. The program provides funds for cutting-edge technologies that provide significant water savings, energy savings, and greenhouse gas emission reductions in the agricultural, industrial, commercial, and residential sectors, and for innovations in renewable desalination. Projects must be ready for rapid, large-scale deployment in California.
