Sacramento, California - Barajas comes to the department after serving as a legislative aide in the Office of Assemblymember Joaquin Arambula since 2016.

He was campaign manager for Dr. Arambula for Assembly 2018, and a constituent affairs representative in the Office of Governor Edmund G. Brown Jr. from 2015 to 2016. He was raised in the Central Valley and is a CalPoly grad, and worked for a vineyard management company while he was a student.
