Sacramento, California - Governor Gavin Newsom Wednesday announced that he has signed the following animal welfare legislation:
- AB 1553 by Assemblymember Vince Fong (R-Bakersfield) – Animal Impoundment.
- AB 1565 by Assemblymember Bill Quirk (D-Hayward) – Stray Cats: adoption: kittens.
