Sacramento, California - The California Department of Food and Agriculture (CDFA), announces one vacancy on the California Animal Health and Food Safety Laboratory (CAHFS) Advisory Board. The CAHFS Advisory Board makes recommendations to CDFA and the University of California on matters pertaining to the operations of the CAHFS laboratory system.

The board consists of representatives of the livestock and poultry industries and practicing veterinarians who utilize the laboratory services. 
 
Members serve for two-year terms and receive no compensation but are entitled to reimbursement for actual expenses incurred while attending board meetings.
