Modesto, California - The California Department of Food and Agriculture will host a public listening session on March 19, 2018 to hear stakeholder input on the Alternative Manure Management Program, or AMMP.

The feedback received at this session will inform future solicitation requests and are part of the CDFA Office of Environmental Farming and Innovation’s ongoing process of program improvement.  CDFA encourages all individuals interested in providing public comments to attend the meeting, including but not limited to dairy farmers, technical assistance providers, environmental advocates, local community members, and the general public.

Funded by California Climate Investments, AMMP provides financial assistance for the implementation of non-digester manure management practices in California, resulting in reduced greenhouse gas emissions.
