Sacramento, California - A portion of Fresno County along its border with Tulare County has been placed under quarantine for the Asian citrus psyllid (ACP) following the detection of three ACP in one trap in the unincorporated area between the City of Dinuba and Delft Colony. The quarantine expansion into Fresno County measures approximately 30 square miles; all of Tulare County remains under quarantine as a result of previous ACP detections.

Sacramento, California - Joseph Nkunzi, 31, of Des Moines, Washington, was sentenced today by United States District Judge Kimberly J. Mueller to four years and three months in prison for his involvement in a telemarketing scheme that defrauded senior citizens of hundreds of thousands of dollars, United States Attorney Benjamin B. Wagner announced.
