Washington, DC - The U.S. Food and Drug Administration approved Cinqair (reslizumab) for use with other asthma medicines for the maintenance treatment of severe asthma in patients aged 18 years and older. Cinqair is approved for patients who have a history of severe asthma attacks (exacerbations) despite receiving their current asthma medicines.

Chicago, Illinois - The Merck Foundation (the Foundation) and the American Cancer Society announced today that the Foundation provided a grant of $1.58 million over four years to the Society to implement a comprehensive Patient Navigation Program in three U.S. communities where substantial cancer care disparities exist.
