David Bowdich Named Assistant Director in Charge of FBI Los Angeles

Washington, DC - Director James B. Comey has named David Bowdich the assistant director in charge of the Los Angeles Field Office. Since September 2012, Mr. Bowdich has served as special agent in charge (SAC) of the Los Angeles Field Office’s Counterterrorism Division. In that role he led the Joint Terrorism Task Force, responsible for all counterterrorism investigations and operations in the Los Angeles region and surrounding counties, as well as overseas investigations in Southeast Asia. As SAC, Mr. Bowdich was also in charge of all Los Angeles Crisis Response assets.
