Calexico, California - Wednesday, U.S. Border Patrol agents from the Calexico station arrested three illegal immigrants near the Imperial Sand Dunes suspected of smuggling approximately 138 pounds of marijuana, with an estimated value of more than $82,000.

Washington, DC - The Department of Justice has announced today that Gerber Legendary Blades, a division of Fiskars Brands Inc., of Madison, Wisconsin, has agreed to pay a civil penalty of $2.6 million to settle allegations that it knowingly failed to immediately report to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) a safety hazard associated with Fiskars’ Gator Combo Axe.

Washington, DC - Effective January 1, 2015, the Department of State will adjust the processing fee for the Border Crossing Card (BCC) for Mexican citizens under age 15 whose parent or guardian has or is applying for a BCC. The fee will increase from $16 to $17. The fees for all other consular services will remain the same.
