Alexandria, Louisiana - A Salvadoran man illegally present in the United States, who is wanted in his home country for murder, was removed from the United States Friday by officers with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement's (ICE) Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO).

Figueroa-Agosto, aka Junior Capsula, was sentenced Friday to 71 months in prison for his participation in a conspiracy to commit money laundering. The probe that spurred his arrest, guilty plea and subsequent sentence was conducted by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s (ICE) Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) and the FBI.
