Los Angeles, California - Today, Attorney General Kamala D. Harris, in conjunction with eleven California District Attorneys and the nonprofit Center for Environmental Health, announced a landmark settlement with food industry giant Mondelēz International, Inc., formerly Kraft Foods, for selling ginger snap cookies containing lead in excess of California limits without the warning required by California’s Proposition 65.  A consent judgment was filed Thursday in Orange County Superior Court and is awaiting approval by a judge.
