Imperial Sand Dunes Recreation Area - The BLM conducted a registration and DUI checkpoint along Wash Road in the Imperial Sand Dunes Recreation Area today. As visitors departed, BLM law enforcement officers made two arrests for felony firearms violations. The BLM also issued citations for possession of narcotics, minors in possession of alcohol, operating vehicles with open containers of alcohol, and fake identifications.
