San Diego, California - San Diego Humane Society’s Emergency Response Team will load up to depart for Charlotte, North Carolina today. In a collaborative effort with Humane Society of the United States, the SDHS Emergency Response Team will be on the front lines helping animals impacted by Hurricane Florence.
The team is FEMA-certified and trained in swift water rescues of large and small animals.
