Washington, DC - The Federal Trade Commission has approved final amendments to Commission Rule 1.98 that adjust the maximum civil penalty dollar amounts for violations of 16 provisions of law the FTC enforces, as required by the Federal Civil Penalties Inflation Adjustment Act Improvements Act of 2015.

Sacramento, California - Governor Edmund G. Brown Jr. today announced that he has signed tribal-state gaming compacts between the State of California and the Barona Band of Mission Indians, the Viejas Band of Kumeyaay Indians and the Buena Vista Rancheria of Me-Wuk Indians, as well as an amendment to the current tribal-state gaming compact with the Jackson Rancheria Band of Miwuk Indians.
