Niland, California - Monday, the Imperial County Sheriff’s Office responded to a brush fire in the area of Highway 111 and Alcott Road in Niland. Investigation revealed the fire was intentionally started by Donna Cobb, 40 yrs old from Niland, who had been seen in the area and had made threats to burn down a residence also in that area.
