Washington, DC - May 15th is Food Revolution Day, and Jamie Oliver is asking us to join the fight for food education for every child. Food Revolution Day is a global day of action for people all over the world to come together to stand up for food education and to cook and share their kitchen knowledge, celebrating the importance of food literacy. At Food Tank, we are inspired by the efforts of teachers and educators to incorporate cooking, nutrition education, and gardening into school curriculums.

Energy Department Authorizes Liquefaction Project to Export Liquefied Natural Gas

Washington, DC - The Energy Department announced today that it has issued a final authorization for the Corpus Christi Liquefaction Project (Corpus Christi) to export domestically produced liquefied natural gas (LNG) to countries that do not have a Free Trade Agreement (FTA) with the United States. The Corpus Christi Liquefaction Project in Corpus Christi, Texas is authorized to export LNG up to the equivalent of 2.1 billion standard cubic feet per day (Bcf/d) of natural gas for a period of 20 years.
