Kirkland, Washington - Overload Golf Ventures, a private venture firm focused on technology innovation in the golf industry, is expanding its global footprint by forming aboutGolf Global.  AGG has acquired aboutGolf LTD to further its goals of developing unique opportunities in the golf industry by expanding the indoor golf and entertainment experience into new markets and demographics.

"This acquisition underscores aboutGolf Global's commitment to driving innovation in golf and beyond as well as making the indoor golf experience more accessible to more people," said aboutGolf Global's CEO Randall Henry. "We want to reimagine the way people experience golf."

Ken Kamada, General Partner of Overload Golf Ventures explained that "The golf industry generates well over $70B annually in the U.S. and despite conventional wisdom, recent Forbes data from 2017 points to growth in the game with over 32 million active players domestically. We see an opportunity to capitalize on a growing youth golf demographic (one of only two growing youth sports in the past 5 years) along with a highly sophisticated and mobile-centric younger generation to bring cutting-edge products and technologies over the next decade."

Brett Campbell, co-founder of enterprise software company, Nintex, which was recently acquired by private equity firm Thoma Bravo, will assume the role of Executive Chairman of the Board of Directors and company.
