Washington, DC - Effective January 1, 2015, the Department of State will adjust the processing fee for the Border Crossing Card (BCC) for Mexican citizens under age 15 whose parent or guardian has or is applying for a BCC. The fee will increase from $16 to $17. The fees for all other consular services will remain the same.

Washington, DC - During the week of December 14, 2014, USDA confirmed two findings of highly pathogenic avian influenza in wild birds in Washington State and in a small backyard poultry flock in Oregon. We reported these findings to the World Animal Health Organization (OIE) as required. As a result of the findings, some countries have placed restrictions on U.S. poultry exports.
