Sacramento, California - Governor Edmund G. Brown Jr. today announced the following appointments.

 

 

Ebony Lewis, 31, of Los Angeles, has been appointed to the California Architects Board. Lewis has been a residency program administrator at Kaiser Permanente Los Angeles Medical Center since 2012, where she was an associate recruiter from 2006 to 2012 and human resources assistant from 2005 to 2006. She is a member of the University of Southern California Society of Trojan Women, Women in Health Administration, Black Los Angeles Young Democrats, Junior League of Los Angeles and the Los Angeles African American Women’s Public Policy Institute. Lewis earned an Executive Master of Health Administration degree from the University of Southern California, Sol Price School of Public Policy. This position does not require Senate confirmation and the compensation is $100 per diem. Lewis is a Democrat.

Barry Williams, 64, of San Luis Obispo, has been appointed to the California Architects Board. Williams has been principal architect and owner of Barry Lorenz Williams Associates since 2010, where he was principal architect and owner from 1981 to 1998, and has been a lecturer at California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo since 1979. He was a principal architect at Westberg and White Inc. Architects and Planners from 1998 to 2010 and was a research analyst and professional liability specialist at Design Professionals Insurance Company from 1995 to 2001. Williams is a member of the College of Architecture and Environmental Design Foundation board. He earned a Master of Science degree in architecture from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. This position does not require Senate confirmation and the compensation is $100 per diem. Williams is a Democrat.
