Imperial, California - Bowing your head in prayer is a good thing to do, but be careful not to bow too low.  A New Jersey man did just that at a local restaurant over a steak fajita skillet and, boy, did he get burned, reports the Association of Mature American Citizens.

He flinched when the piping hot dish sizzled and scorched his eye. That caused him to recoil and he knocked the plate onto his lap burning his legs.  He sued the restaurant and lost, so he took his case to a higher court, which also dismissed his suit.

The high court noted that the plaintiff described the plate as being "real hot" and, therefore, should have known better than to bend over so close to the food he was about to eat.
